A wise spiritual director intervened at that time in her life, settling all these extraordinary phenomena once and for all. But the cessation of these exteriorities brought a concentration of the supernatural in the interior of the nun, who started living some unique phenomena of bilocation that made her to be at a distance of miles of kilometres away in the American land of New Mexico. It was in 1622.The nun was only 20 years old.

The bilocation that took Sister Mary from her retreat in Agreda crossing the Atlantic ocean to America was at that time an event that caused a great deal of astonishment, not only in Spain but also in the Indies - America - itself, where it has survived up today the fame of a lady in blue from the West that evangelised vast areas of New Mexico.

Because of these bilocations the Inquisition judged her twice between 1631 and 1650.
